What do you need to change about your diet?
Um...everything?
Ha! I crack myself up.
In all seriousness, the last 10 days have not been good for me. I am making the wrong food choices. I have done a few paleo days and then I go wild and eat tons of carbs and sugars for a few days. This is no good.
I have decided to do a Paleo week that is 90/10. Meaning 90% of the time I will eat Paleo. It is going to suck, I need to detox off the crap.
That being said I am not setting myself up for failure. Bets are this week won't be perfect but it is all about baby steps. I won't feel guilty if I am not perfect, I won't let a slip ruin the rest of my eating for the day, I will be aware of my choices.
I am hoping this will help me gain my willpower back. I know it is inside of me, I just have to find it again.











You can do it! I know how hard it is because I too have done it and then reverted back. I need to get back to it now that I am better.

ReplyDeleteYou can do it!! You should look into juicing. I hate diets. They just don't work for me because one I get to my ideal weight, I just start eating crazy again. With juicing though, I feel better, I eat smarter and less because I'm full on fruits and veggies. I highly recommend it! You should watch Fat, Sick and Nearly dead. That's what spurred my fiance and I to take the plunge.

ReplyDeleteI needed to come to a realization that it was the choices I was making that was keeping me from reaching my goals.

ReplyDeleteOhh, I've always wanted to try paleo. Going 90/10 sounds like a good idea. And it's a lifestyle that I think men enjoy. Getting my hubby on board is happening soon. I have to start first because, like we all know, men lose weight quicker than women.. :(

ReplyDeleteLove this post. It is all about baby steps, and once you adapt to each step, that obstacle is as good as crumbled dust cuz you're on your way and will have forgotten all about it. ReplyDeleteYou can do it! I don't know about you but I feel like looking at the big picture is too overwhelming for me, so I just go week by week and have very small goals like lose 1 pound. :)
