1. How did your meet your significant other?
Marc and I met through a dating website in 2006, chemistry.com. He was the first person they matched me up with, we started talking right around Valentine's Day and then we met in person and had our first date in March 16, 2006.
2. What/Where was your first date?
Marc picked me up at my house. I was living with my parents at the time. My dad conveniently took a 1/2 day from work to spy check on me when Marc arrived. We went to the beach and took a walk around and then we went to Uno's for an early dinner.
3. What's your best relationship advice?
Think before you speak. I am guilty of this on an almost daily basis.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment in front of your SO?
Marc and I had been dating for a little over 4 months. I had taken a few vacation days and spent the time at Marc's. On the last full day, we went to the mall and ate D'angelos. Well, my sandwich was wrong so I asked for another one to be made. BIG mistake. Later that evening my stomach started to get upset. I went to the bathroom so many times that night that I lost count. I thought I was dying. Around 4am, all I wanted to do was go home so I woke up Marc and drove home. I had lost all dignity at this point in front of Marc. I was embarrassed and miserable. The last thing you want to talk about with your new boyfriend is diarrhea. Tuns out I had a bad case of food poisoning. I ended up in the emergency room twice from being dehydrated and I lost over 10 lbs in one week. One of those nights in the ER was my parents wedding anniversary, my poor mom spent it with me being hooked up to an IV. My few vacation days turned out to be about two weeks off to recover, it was awful. I have not eaten D'angelos since that fateful day in 2006. Ick.
5. What most attracts you to your SO?
His kindness. When I met Marc I could not believe how kind he was. Coming out if an awful relationship made his kindness almost hard to believe. I remember when we had been dating for a few months, I asked my mom if Marc was the real deal. She enthusiastically said yes.
6. If a movie was made about your SO, what actor/superhero would play their part?
I have been thinking about this answer for some time and honestly I can't think of anyone. Marc is one of a kind.

ReplyDeleteDave threw up in front of me early after we started dating, he had drank too much punch, lol. always fun when that happens.
ReplyDeleteafter my previous bad relationship Dave always seemed really kind to me too, it's a great quality to have!
Ha bodily functions and dating are so embarrassing. I threw up in front of Tommy after a night of drinking when we first started dating and was beyond mortified.
