Instagram Photo Display

I have been working on this project slowly since November. I found the inspiration for this from Pinterest of course - Good Willionaire.

I had it on my boards for awhile but it wasn't until Marc came home with an awesome mirror that he saved from the dumpster at work that I knew I had to make it.

The frame was was very lightweight so I knew it would be perfect once the mirror was removed. Marc was able to just pull the backing off for me and remove the mirror.

Marc brought the mirror down to the basement but not before Violet had some fun with it. These pictures were taken November 11! She was so little!

Next it was time to spray paint, I went with white as I try to keep white and black frames in my living room.
Next I had to get my pictures ready. Next Monday I will have a tutorial on how I printed them out, of course I found it on Pinterest. The size I made are 2x2.

Next, and by next I mean this last Wednesday...almost two months since I started this project...I had to hang my pictures.

I took gray and yellow baker's twine and strung it across the frame. I did four rows. Then I used mini clothespins to hang the photos.

I love the way this turned out and I think it looks great in my living room. I also love that I can easily switch out photos and they don't have to be just Instagram pics either.

I made one for my brother and sister in law for Christmas too and I think it was a big hit.

Make sure to come back next Monday for my easy peasy tutorial on how to print out your Instagram photos.

i love you more than carrots

  1. Awww, I love those. I wish I had Instagram. Mini clothespins are adorable. I am a lover of Pinterest and you did a wonderful job on this project. I took my pictures down MONTHS ago
    * 8( to change them out and they are now in a bin and no pics on the wall. This is a great way to change things up. Have a great day.

  2. Another fabulous DIY idea girl! That you actually DID! I always find awesome projects on Pinterest and on other blogs and I never actually do them. So, even though it took you a while to get it finished, you finished it. The hubs and I just hung all of Sofia's professional photos from her 6 mo and 12 mo shoots. And she's 15 months today. least they're up now, right? :)

  3. I love it I guess that is the story of being a busy mama taking so long to get a relatively simple project done!

  4. I've had this pinned/on my list of things I want to do but I need to find a frame!

  5. So awesome!! At first the mirror looked like a picture- because of the beautiful trees haha!

What a great way to display all those adorable IG pictures too!

I used a cool frame we found at a sale and spray painted it pink, then made a hair clip holder! Pinterest Inspired, of course!

    check it out here,

  6. Love this idea! I have a mirror frame that I picked up from a yard sale months ago that I have been trying to decide what to do with it and now I know.

  7. I love displays like this and yours are great too. your brother looks a lot like you!

  8. This is an incredible gift idea and I'd love it in my house too! A+ job. :)

  9. That's a brilliant gift idea, love it! Very very cool

  10. Looks great.I made a advent calender(its on my blog)along these lines and thought what will i do with it after christmas then yesterday i saw on pinterest this same idea.Must be a sign-love yours-love deex

  11. This is a great idea! I take so many pictures on Instagram & never print them out. This is a great excuse to start doing so!
