Disney Pin Wreath

I love Disney. Capital letter LOVE of Disney. I have been to Disney World 9 times, 7 of those times as an adult. I absolutely can't wait to take Violet on her first trip.
One of my favorite Disney souvenirs, because let's face it everyone loves souvenirs, are Disney pins. There are pins for everyone. On the last few trips I have purchased pins to specifically trade in the parks. I can usually find pin lots on eBay that break down to about $1 per pin. Cast members will trade with you and I have had many great conversations because of pin trading.
My dilemma is how to display my awesome pins. I have had them on a giant cork board but it just doesn't make me happy. I wanted something different and this is what I came up with.
Supplies:
  • Wreath form, I used foam but I think straw would work too
  • Disney pins
  • Ribbon
  • Hot glue gun
First step is to admire your pins. Ooooh pretty.
Attach your ribbon to your wreath form with hot glue or craft bond of choice. Pull your ribbon tight and start winding it around the wreath form.
Once your wreath is completely covered in ribbon secure the end.
Now the fun part, add your pins! It took me a bit to get them just right. I have so many that I need to make a second wreath. The pins poked into the wreath easily and I could reposition them when I needed to.
I think I am going to hang the wreath in the kitchen. I took this picture outside for the natural light as my house resembles a dungeon.
Can you tell by my pins who my favorite characters are?
